Job Description
As a Business Development Underwriter, you'll join a team of experienced technical experts underwriting commercial combined, property, and liability insurance across all sectors. You'll work with broker partners and internal stakeholders to target new business opportunities, deliver against GWP targets, and support our growth strategy.
Key responsibilities include underwriting commercial insurance, overseeing customer outcomes, balancing speed and technical requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
We're looking for a minimum 3 years' experience in commercial insurance, APA or relevant qualification, and experience in growth, achieving targets, and technical underwriting.
Desirable experience includes a proven track record in winning commercial combined products, specialist experience in engineering, manufacturing, and distribution sectors, and proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM system.
