Business Excellence (Lean) Specialist

Role Profile
Reporting to the Business Excellence Manager, this role will work closely with a highly motivated and experienced Business Excellence team to bring continuous improvement to life each day.
- Providing support in the area of operational excellence and continuously improving the LEAN maturity of the site
- Contributing to the development of strategy focused on embedding a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across the Tirln business
- Ensuring that the site daily management system (3M), KPI reviews, and continuous improvement forums are embedded at all levels of the site
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the RCA process and ensuring its effectiveness in eliminating waste in the site processes
- Cooking and mentoring employees at all levels in the use of LEAN systems & tools
- Facilitating the development, implementation, & governance of business process improvement projects
Requirements
- Third-level qualification or relevant experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, or Product Development
- In-depth understanding of lean systems with hands-on experience utilizing lean tools in an effective manner
- Knowledge of the Shingo model of operational excellence an advantage
