Job Description

Our client is seeking a Business Process Analyst with experience in understanding, documenting and adopting business processes, procedures, and workflows in finance.

This is an initial 12 month contract for a mid level Business Process Analyst paying €400 - €425/day.

The role can be worked in a hybrid capacity, working 2 days per week onsite in the Dublin city centre.


  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information on existing business processes and define proposed business process enhancements
  • Analyze and understand complex business processes, workflows, and procedures.
  • Write clear and comprehensive business process documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and procedural documents.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, uptodate, and reflects current and proposed business practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations for enhancements.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate changes as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in business process documentation and technical writing
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Six Sigma) is a plus. Preferred
  • Certification in business process mapping / management is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst/Writer, Technical Writer, Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and flowcharting tools (e.g., Visio).
  • Strong understanding of business process documentation methodologies and techniques.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, understandable documentation.
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
