Buyer - Toys My client, a leading provider of children's entertainment products and toys is looking for a driven Buyer - Toys to join their team. Package Generous salary doe Bonus Pension Healthcare Agile Working Life Assurance Flexible Working Hours Responsibilities of this Buyer Toys job include: You will be responsible for the performance of the range of products assigned to your department. End to end responsibility for the complete product life cycle, which includes but is not limited to; Product sourcing and selection, Supplier negotiation & management, and Forecasting. You will be responsible for driving sales and optimising margins within their category or product range. Responsible for analysing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and associated holding costs. You will collaborate with the marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives tailored to their product category. Drawing on your understanding of consumer preferences and market trends, the buyer provides valuable insights to marketing teams to inform their strategies and tactics. Skills and requirements for this Buyer Toys job include: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, marketing, finance, or a related field. Experience in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and analysing market trends. Highly Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Demonstrate the ability to complete work in a timely manner and to specific deadlines. Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, as well as operationally. Strong interpersonal skills.
