Job Summary: Supply Chain Professional responsible for managing purchasing, inventory, and logistics for a global healthcare company.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage MPS & MRP for raw material, intermediate, and finished goods.
- Ensure material supply in line with plant schedules.
- Coordinate the purchasing process and work with NPI activities.
- Manage BOM / Item Master.
- Coordinate materials aspect for NPI's.
- Work with Supply chain members to meet target performance on KPI's.
- Inventory Management and Control.
- Liaise with transportation companies regarding deliveries.
- Schedule deliveries within warehouse capacities.
- Project implementation in line with specific goals.
**Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:**
- No supervisory duties are associated with this position.
**EHS Responsibilities:**
- Ensure Environmental Health & Safety standards are met and all EHS regulations and procedures are adhered to.
- Demonstrate accountability and responsibility for EHS performance and compliance through active participation and support of Abbott's EHS Program.
- Ensure to report any work-related injuries or illness to employee health and assist in the investigation.
- Active participation and support of Abbott's EHS programs and attend EHS training as assigned.
**Education Required:**
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in a related discipline, or IPICS / IIPMM.
- Appropriate qualification in either Purchasing/Production Planning.
**Knowledge & Experience:**
- Excellent Computer skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- At least two years' experience in supply chain/production planning.
- A high level of expertise is required in solving scheduling, logistics, expediting, and purchasing problems.
**Accountability / Scope:**
- The position has scope for decision making within confines of agreed responsibilities.
- Activities broadly defined by agreed impact goals.
- Supervision is received through meetings and one-on-one meeting with the Planning & Purchasing Manager.
- Periodic goal reviews, annual performance, and career development reviews will also occur.
