Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate C++ Software Engineer to join our team remotely in Poland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing our next generation of syncing and file-sharing software applications and delivering a maintainable solution optimized for usability and reliability.
You'll have the opportunity to work with multiple technologies and codebases, interact directly with our customers, and learn firsthand how they use our products. Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining our competitive edge and in shaping the future of digital storage solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience through a portfolio, projects, or professional achievements
- 5+ years of software development experience including systems level programming
- Strong experience with C++
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize tasks while working remotely - independently or as part of the team
- Knowledge of Web Technologies including HTTP protocol, XML, REST APIs
- Comfortable with Git version control system
- Experience working with filesystems (Windows, Linux)
- Experience working with databases
- Knowledge and experience developing complex multi-threaded, performance sensitive systems
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language among Type Script, Swift, Rust, or Python
