CAD Technician Salary: €30 - €35k DOE We are excited to offer an opportunity to join a fast-paced Irish engineering company as CAD Technician. The role will be based in Co. Galway. We are seeking an individual with a strong knowledge of the construction industry, particularly in residential development, ranging from single dwellings to large-scale residential projects. As a CAD technician, you will be responsible for designing technical drawings used in the construction of buildings. Ready to leverage your CAD skills to engineer the future? The Crewit team is looking forward to receiving your CV Requirements: To be able to start, prepare and complete and full set of drawings for a (Apply online only) square foot dwelling within 8 working hours (these would be basic design drawings that include two floor plans, 4 elevations and 1 or 2 section drawings or close to this standard) To be able to interpret a sketch proposal and draft the design Good English - essential Good communicator Work ethic Auto-CAD (basic 2d design) Microsoft office Basic construction related degree or equivalent diploma. (Architectural Technician, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, etc) Understanding of building dynamics and the construction industry Responsibilities: Drafting and preparation of 2d construction industry related drawings. Basic drafting of plans, elevations, sections, of residential dwellings and commercial buildings. Detailed drawings for the execution of construction practices on site. (Template drawings and precedents will be provided similar to any drawing required) Producing plans, elevations, technical details and building layouts Work hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday GMT Salary: €30 - €35k DOE Benefits: 20 days holidays Health insurance Bonus at year end once (once targets are met) Location: Cloonbeg, Gort, Co.
