Within this role you will be responsible to provide a support service to the site as part of the FM-Services team specializing in calibration work, to ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out in compliance with relevant SOPs and cGMPs. This is a shift position, including day and night shift. As a Calibration Technician, a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following: Complying with site safety policies and striving to maintain an accident free environment Ensuring documentation of maintenance activities is in line with cGMP standards both in paper based records and the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Maintaining the physical condition and environment of all areas Providing instrumentation/calibration support to Facilities, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Operations Adhering to and remaining current in assigned plant and department SOPs and required trainings as related to positional and department responsibilities; maintaining an up-to-date training file ensuring compliance Supporting continuous improvement, 5S and lean initiatives Promoting quality and customer service Following current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) This role might be for you if: You have the skills to work with automated control systems and with low voltages You are capable of performing loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and startup of instrumentation You have the expertise to calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow and analytical instruments You are adept at communicating with mid and senior management within the facilities department You demonstrate an ability to occasionally work on other Process/Utility/Facility related work tasks/issues that are outside the calibration department's normal work duties To be considered for this opportunity you should have a relevant recognized trade qualification or a third level qualification along with 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
