**Job Description:** Cork University Hospital, a major teaching hospital, is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join its benign urology department. The successful candidate will develop and lead a nurse-led service, focusing on Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS). **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement a nurse-led service for LUTS patients * Attend consultant-led clinics and contribute to service development * Develop clinical and leadership skills to meet the criteria for registration as a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner (RANP) * Practice nursing according to professional clinical guidelines, national health policy, local policies, and current legislation * Contribute to service development through continuous education and research initiatives **Requirements:** * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to plan and manage resources effectively * Evidence-based decision-making skills * Professional knowledge and experience in urology and LUTS * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Working Conditions:** * Full-time, permanent position * Based at Cork University Hospital * Must attend fire lectures periodically and observe fire orders * Must adhere to Infection Control Policies and not smoke within hospital buildings **Benefits:** * Paid time-off for vacation and sick days * Equal opportunities employer
