CAPEX Accountant Exciting Opportunity in Financial Reporting Are you a driven and qualified accountant with a passion for capital projects and financial reporting? We are seeking an experienced CAPEX Accountant to join a dynamic Financial Reporting team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in managing and delivering high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits, all within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. As a CAPEX Accountant, you will have broad responsibilities within the Financial Reporting function, with a special focus on capital projects. This position provides the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and the companys ERP system, while gaining exposure to senior management and making a tangible impact on key business decisions. What You Will Do: Month-End Close: Support the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting related to capital projects. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports on capital projects to senior management, providing insights that drive business outcomes. Process Development: Play a key role in the continuous development and improvement of our Corporate ERP system and other financial processes. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support on capital expenditure and asset management. Requirements Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent): With a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably in a CAPEX or asset management accounting role. Experience in Fixed Asset Accounting: Essential for managing the financial aspects of capital projects. ERP System Experience: Prior experience using a corporate ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), and a keen interest in improving financial systems and processes. Experience the the utilities or pubic sector capital projects Advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to prepare reports and presentations. High Standards of Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Critical for ensuring data integrity and reliable financial reports. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with senior management and presenting financial reports. Team Player: Proven ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team in a fast-moving environment. Proactive and Change-Oriented: Energetic, passionate, and not afraid to challenge the status quo to drive improvements and deliver change.
