Consultant in Sustainability and Carbon
Our company is seeking a highly motivated Consultant to join our Sustainability and Carbon team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability and climate action, with experience in corporate carbon accounting, net zero initiatives, and sustainability advisory projects. We are looking for a team player who can contribute to impactful projects across various sectors, shaping a more sustainable future. As a Consultant, you will support projects with confidence, embracing continuous learning and professional growth. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team, developing expertise in the field and influencing stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Support projects delivering carbon accounting assessments, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, setting targets, and developing and implementing carbon reduction strategies. • Provide guidance on carbon management best practices and regulatory compliance. • Stay up to date with the latest developments in carbon accounting standards, methodologies, and technologies. • Collaborate with other service offerings, such as Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Carbon management in infrastructure projects, sustainability services, and whole life carbon assessments (LCAs). About You: As a Consultant in Sustainability and Carbon, you will typically have two to three years' experience in GHG accounting and reporting, with knowledge of additional GHG accounting and reporting frameworks. You will also have experience in delivering projects, developing strategies, and implementing change in the carbon areas described above.
