Job Summary: Temporary Case Manager - Technology Transfer positions available at Nova UCD, responsible for identifying and commercialising intellectual property from UCD research activities.
The Case Manager will work closely with colleagues in Nova UCD, UCD researchers and administrative offices to advise on commercial issues in research contracts, identify and protect intellectual property, and take a lead role in commercialising IP through licensing and/or new venture creation.
The successful candidate will have domain expertise in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline and will be responsible for:
- Identifying and protecting intellectual property arising from UCD research activities
- Advising on commercial issues in research contracts
- Commercialising IP through licensing and/or new venture creation
Nova UCD is a leading institution in technology transfer and innovation, and this role will play a key part in driving the commercialisation of UCD research.
The Case Manager will be part of a dynamic team working to identify and exploit opportunities for technology transfer and commercialisation, and will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders across the university and industry.
