The Strategic Sourcing Expert position is responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies to leverage relationships across the enterprise to achieve the best total value. You will effectively manage the seven steps of the sourcing process including Spend analysis, Market Research, Supplier Due Diligence, Sourcing Strategy, RFX Management, Bid Analysis, Contract Management, and Supplier Performance Management. Working in an agile way, switching between categories with a large supply base to meet business demands. Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers using industry cost models and proposal evaluation. Performing analysis of financial and business data related to supplier proposals. Developing, managing, and leading cross-functional teams, running strategic sourcing processes, and contract negotiation. Leading negotiations on contract terms with suppliers at Senior Management level. Creating sourcing strategies that get us the materials and services we need, at the right price and quality. Executing supplier relationship management activities for key assigned suppliers. Supporting the growth of our Supply Chain Management practice. What we’re looking for... You are a strategic problem solver who pays attention to detail and acts as a change agent. You will also be an excellent relationship builder with good interpersonal skills. You'll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience. Experience in Strategic Sourcing. Knowledge of legal language and terminologies related to contracting. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Master's degree. IT Sourcing, Supply chain or Procurement experience. Certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS/CSCP. Certification in Lean Six Sigma. Ability to define and develop work products and deliverables. Ability to support engagement in conducting interviews and coordinating business workshops. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & Microsoft Suite applications. Ability to lead meetings and give presentations to large audiences.
