This is an excellent position for anyone who is looking to join a leading multinational who are one of the best at what they do Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role as a Category Strategy & Implementation Manager, with flexibility for remote work. The role involves developing category strategies, implementing business plans, analyzing market trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams in both Ireland and UK, and optimizing product portfolios to drive growth and profitability. Category Leadership Be the category expert in relevant categories, using insight to shape internal strategy and deliver results externally. Develop category strategy to define a clear growth roadmap with a consumer first approach (product innovation, go to market strategy, activations platform) Anticipate consumer trends, competition & new regulations and how these fit into our growth strategy. Define and execute innovation pipeline (concept, research and development) Report, track, learn & suggest improvements by analysing the impact on sales of marketing into brand plans. Lead the commercial input for relevant existing brands and NPD in the stage gate and budgeting process, providing customer, category and shopper input into brand plans. Market Analysis and Competitive Strategy: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions. Identify trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to position the company as a market leader. Develop strategies for market entry, growth, and expansion. Build business cases focusing on strategic objectives, long-term ROI, and market impact. Implement a framework for evaluating the strategic impact and financial viability of new product initiatives. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track product performance, customer satisfaction, and success across the portfolio of initiatives Key Account Management Be the account specialist and manager of select key accounts in both Grocery & Pharmacy. Control the relationship with the key stakeholders in these accounts. Lead consumer data analysis to identify key insights enabling the Brand portfolio to accelerate. Interrogate retail sales and the dynamics of our brands and competitors to recommend actions to drive sales and profit. Build and drive Joint Business Plans with our key customers. Work closely with the Sales Team and our Distributor to maximize ranging, availability on shelf and the implementation of our in-store animation and promotional plans. Qualifications Min 3-5 years experience Business Insights and Market Research skills Analytical Skills and Market Analysis capabilities Customer Insight expertise using Kantar, Nielsen, IMS Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field Skills: Commerical Business Insight Market Research
