We are currently recruiting a dedicated, passionate Radiographer to join a vibrant, expanding Interventional team in Cork. We are looking to hire highly motivated, well-rounded and patient-focusedRadiographers with a strong passion for Cath lab! As a Cath Lab Radiographer you will join a thriving multi-disciplinary team, delivering high quality care to patients and clients who access angiography services, along with the provision of clinical and provisional support to other team members in the angiography suite. You will work under the leadership of an exceptional Radiology Manager dedicated to innovation, excellence, and a supportive work environment; this is an outstanding opportunity for professional growth. This Hospital has experienced significant growth in recent years they are now recruiting Cardiac Cath Lab Radiographers to join their team on a permanent basis, either fulltime or part time. Skills and Experience: Excellent communication and customer liaison skills. You will be flexible, self-motivated and will have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in a busy trauma hospital or in Cath Lab. A strong desire to learn and develop your career in Cardiovascular Cath Lab Procedures Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterisations. Operate and maintain specialised imaging equipment with precision and care. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process. Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. Assist in the preparation and aftercare of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Stay updated with advancements in cardiac imaging technology and techniques and participate in ongoing professional development. Supervise and mentor junior radiographers and radiography students as needed. Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Eligibility Criteria: Must hold a Diploma/Degree of Radiography. Must hold CORU registration You will have a minimum 1 year experience working in a busy trauma hospital Experience working in Cath Lab. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Commitment to continuous professional development and education. Excellent time management skills and clear attention to detail Excellent Communications skills and the ability to support and contribute to the team.
