Are you a Social Care Manager seeking a rewarding role working in elderly care? If you are self-starter with a desire to promote a person-centred, community-focused model of care for service users with dementia, this is the role for you. Medforce are honoured to work with a non-profit organisation who provide dementia-specific services to local communities in coastal South Dublin and County Cork. We are seeking a Centre Manager who will oversee the operations and manage all staff employed by the centre. The successful candidate will have experience in human resources, finance, administration and have experience in dementia care. Contract: Full-time, permanent. Schedule: No weekend/shift work A summary of duties and responsibilities: · Client care: Relationship building, developing care plans, supporting and educating families and carers, activity coordination. · Management: Supervision of staff, training, performance management, recruitment. · Administration: Accurate record keeping, diary organisation, invoicing. Essential Criteria: · Degree or equivalent qualification in Nursing, Social Care, Applied Social Studies, or a related field. · At least 5 years post-qualification experience in health/social care or the voluntary sector. · Minimum of 3 years management experience in a similar role. · Experience working with individuals with complex needs in various situations. · Knowledge of the voluntary sector, issues related to older people, and dementia. · Full, clean driving license.
