Youll work closely with the CEO and COO, based in Rome, and play a key role in steering the companys financial direction as they expand into new markets. Flexibility to travel for strategic meetings and collaborations at their headquarters is essential. What Youll Be Doing: Shape Financial Strategy:Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the companys growth ambitions, ensuring they remain ahead in a competitive market. Drive Operational Excellence:Lead the optimization of accounting processes and software, ensuring robust financial systems are in place to support rapid expansion. Informed Decision-Making:Produce and analyze financial and management reports to provide valuable insights for executive decisions. Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a dedicated accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Global Compliance:Oversee tax compliance and collaborate with CPAs and legal teams across the US, Ireland, and Italy. What Theyre Looking For: A visionary financial leader with 8-10 years of experience, including 3-5 years in a CFO role within a mid-sized business. Expertise in international accounting and taxation, particularly in Irish, American, and Italian regulations. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software such as Xero. Proven track record of leading financial strategy in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. A self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
