We are currently seeking a skilled Chapter Leader - Senior Manager with a passion for leading people, developing engineering and agile talent, and building strong partnerships on cross-company programs. You will have the opportunity to lead a number of talented teams charged with designing, developing, implementing and maintaining technology solutions for the IWMS group within FBOT.

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in people management & project delivery
  • 8+ years of experience in a technology or software development discipline
  • Significant project and delivery expertise using Agile methodology
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or other relevant field is required.

The Purpose of Your Role

This role involves people management, talent development, customer relationship responsibilities and technology project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for developing talent across software engineering disciplines and agile roles. They will have strong interpersonal/communication skills coupled with a passion and motivation for working in a highly customer focused environment. They will have a strong technical background and will work closely and support their Agile teams on requirements, design, task estimation, and implementation of agreed functionality as well as release management.

  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong interest in employee development, team dynamics and motivation
  • Experience leading & managing people across multiple different functional areas (Software Engineering, Systems Analysis, Scrum Masters, Automation etc)
  • Experienced in Project Delivery in an agile environment
  • Strong technical background with a passion for process improvement and setting standards of delivery excellence on Agile squads.
  • Excellent presentation as well as written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience in release management and co-ordination across multiple projects
  • Strong customer facing and relationship management skills
  • Highly motivated with willingness to take ownership / responsibility for their work
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Strong process definition skills

  • You will facilitate/participate in key Agile rituals across Scrum teams

  • You will conduct hiring, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and other status changes of staffing

The position aligns to the IWMS organization within FBOT. The team provides software engineering, application development and project management for the IWMS business within FBOT.
