Chef Wanted for Baxter & Greene Market Deli
Highly skilled chefs required to join the team in our contemporary and stylish Market Deli, where fresh food is prepared and cooked daily.
**About Us** Baxter & Greene is a leading retailer in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Spain, offering a unique shopping experience that combines food and fashion. **Job Description** As a chef in our team, you will be responsible for: * Preparing and cooking fresh food daily, using innovative and creative ideas to produce high-quality dishes * Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food presentation * Working closely with the deli manager and staff to ensure seamless operations and maximize sales * Managing food production costs and wastage, and implementing effective HACCP procedures * Training and developing existing staff in new procedures and processes * Maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of equipment in the deli, kitchen, and front of house **Requirements** * At least 3 years of experience in a similar environment * Ability to follow pre-determined recipe cards and HACCP procedures * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Organized, with attention to detail and ability to multitask * Flexible and able to work as part of a team and individually * Passion for food production and presentation **Key Responsibilities** * Work as part of the team to provide the highest standard of food preparation quality and presentation * Monitor and deliver the HACCP programme for the Deli * Manage and control costs associated with food production and wastage * Train and develop existing staff in new procedures and processes * Ensure the regular and systematic cleaning and maintenance of equipment in the Deli, kitchen, and front of house
