Join our team as a part-time Chef at Cahercalla Community Hospital and Hospice. We're seeking a motivated individual with Culinary Arts qualifications and experience in a similar environment. Key responsibilities include preparing meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, be able to work independently, and be passionate about delivering great food. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder and the Home Manager.
- Professional qualification in Culinary Arts or HACCP
- Experience working in a similar environment with knowledge of HIQA standards and special diets for the elderly
- Ability to motivate self and others, work on own initiative and lead a team
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering great food
- Fluent level of English, both written and oral
