We are a leading organization in County Kerry, seeking a highly skilled Chemistry Laboratory Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and 5 years of experience in a commercial laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Chemistry Laboratory team
- Deliver excellent service to customers in accordance with INAB and ISO 17025 standards
- Provide technical direction and support in relation to Chemistry
- Manage team workloads and develop new projects
- Perform SOP review and write-up, plan and execute PT testing, conduct internal audits and QC checks
- Discuss test results with customers
Qualifications and Experience:
- A BSc/MSc in chemistry or other relevant disciplines is essential
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in a commercial laboratory
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 17025
Salary: €50 – €60,000 based on experience
