Our client, a leading private hospital in Dublin, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Chemotherapy Practice Facilitator to enhance their Cancer Services team. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Expertise: Provide expert-level clinical practice in chemotherapy care, exercising critical thinking and clinical supervision skills to improve oncology services. Education & Training: Develop, implement, and oversee chemotherapy training programs for nursing staff, ensuring ongoing professional development. Act as a clinical teacher and mentor, fostering a positive learning environment. Leadership & Support: Offer clinical leadership to nursing and allied staff, acting as a key resource for clinical information. Facilitate the communication of standards, protocols, and procedures across multidisciplinary teams. Collaboration & Management: Work closely with other departments and engage with management to ensure continuous improvement in nursing practices. Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary initiatives that advance patient care. Qualifications: NMBI Registered General Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Minimum 5 years of recent, relevant post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, with at least 3 years of chemotherapy administration experience. Oncology-related Postgraduate Course (desirable). Demonstrated experience in mentorship, clinical teaching, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in IT and presentation skills, with a commitment to continuing professional development.
