The Hoxton is gearing up to open its very first hotel in Ireland in the beautiful capital city of Dublin. This coastal city is steeped in history, packed with green parks and brought to life through music, art and the best social eating and drinking. We’ll be calling central Dublin home but first we need to pull together a team to help us bring the Hox to this new market. The Hoxton, Dublin will be home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar, historic bar, large ground floor restaurant and lobby restaurant, in addition to another first for us - a nightclub.More about us…The Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love. We want to be more than that: proving style doesn’t need to be sacrificed for good value and providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerse themselves in the neighbourhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces.What’s in it for you…The opportunity to work with an exciting new hospitality concept in Dublin and have a real impact on its success.Join an innovative, fast-growing, international group that’s committed to not just building new hotels but building a global brand.The chance to challenge the norm and work in an environment that is both creative and rewarding.Become part of a team that’s very passionate about creating great hospitality experiences and building a portfolio of brands.Great discounts across the entire Ennismore family (which you get to keep even if you decide to leave us!).A competitive package and plenty of opportunity for development.What you’ll do…Responsible for the overall maintenance of the hotel’s facilities and equipment.Ensure that the maintenance budget and stock levels are controlled, ensuring that all expenses are kept in line with budget guidelines.To be fully aware, and competent in, all health and safety procedures, policies and assist with preparing all risk assessments.Ensure that there is an effective PPM schedule in place.Manage the onsite activity of all contractors.Order all maintenance supplies and ensure stock controls are in place.Maintain records of all machinery and equipment including manufacturers details, specifications, and manuals.Ensure that all fire safety equipment is maintained and tested in a timely manner.Arrange and co-ordinate quotations from suppliers in relation to maintenance work.Lead and manage a team of high-energy people who love our guests, by setting and monitoring goals, empowering and developing them, and creating an environment where people can be themselves.Pro-actively identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures.To be a member of the hotel crisis and fire teams, and to be fully conversant in all related procedures.Pro-actively project manage any changes in policies and procedures.Achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service to both external and internal customers, forging long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors.Cover shift engineer shifts as required.What we’re looking for…Individuals.
