Description

Applications are being received for the role of Chief Finance Officer in the South Infirmary - Victoria University Hospital.

The deadline for applications is 1pm on Friday 18th October and interviews may take place over the week of Monday 21st October.


The Chief Finance Officer is responsible for the overall finance, procurement, and HIPE/Casemix function within the hospital, including all aspects of these functions, and the development, organisation, and control of the hospital's accounting and procurement systems in accordance with hospital policies, objectives, and statutory requirements.

The post holder is responsible for the management of the hospital accountants and other finance staff under their responsibility.

Essential criteria to be shortlisted for the post include:


  • ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
  • Demonstrated experience in managing finance functions and implementing process improvements
  • Previous experience of working in a Healthcare environment or public sector environment is desirable.
