Applications are invited for the following post: Chief Financial Officer (Permanent Wholetime) (Reference: 284/2024) The Chief Financial Officer will have the overall responsibility for the performance of the University in terms of finance, assets, planning, resilience, and future sustainability. The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the effective leadership, management, and development of the Finance function within the framework of the TU Dublin mission and strategy. This position has a high level of freedom and autonomy with a focus on strategic decision making, policy development and engagement. The Chief Financial Officer will be innovative and action-orientated with significant strategic capability. The person will work closely with the Schools, Faculties and Research Hubs, as well as Professional Services, to develop the service provided by the Finance Function and ensure it meets the needs of Faculties, Research activities and other corporate services in the University. Hours of Work: A 35-hour working week is in operation. Location: The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Grangegorman (Parkhouse), Blanchardstown or Tallaght.
