EMPOWERMENT is delighted to have been retained to secure a high-calibre COO (PCF-42) for an expanding Payments firm in Dublin. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the operational activity within the Firm, including oversight and management of its partnerships with outsourced providers, both internal and external. This role will be central to development and adherence to the legal, regulatory and governance frameworks of the Firm.Responsibilities:Responsibility for operational governance of the regulated entitySupport the CEO and report to the Board of Directors for the day-to-day operations of the company, including vendor management outsourcing and operational resilienceOwnership and maintaining the Business Continuity Plan, Operational Resilience Plan and Outsourcing (with key stakeholders across internal business units)Responsible and accountable for effective application of the outsourcing frameworkUtilise your knowledge of payments to turn industry and regulatory changes into scoped projects that drive value and maximise functionalityWork cross-functionally with Product, Business, Compliance, Analytics and Finance teams to develop the global payment strategyExperience:University Degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience working with acquiring, card processing, or disbursements of payments at a technology company, EMI, payment network, or financial institutionThe ability to straddle roles as a product manager, project manager and relationship manager, being able to get a strong understanding of all the facets of the business quickly.Proven experience in leading the operations agenda to drive operational excellenceComfortable negotiating contracts across vendor relationshipsSuperior communication and presentation skillsNote: Only candidates residing in Ireland with an Irish/EU passport will be considered for this position.On offer: A competitive salary and benefits package.Please apply directly to this posting and Karl Byrne, Head of Financial Services at EMPOWERMENT, will reach out to discuss in confidence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
