Job Title: Chief Operations Officer

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Chief Operations Officer to lead our retail and online company's growth and expansion.

  • Business Growth and Expansion
    • Develop and execute strategies for retail and digital expansion, ensuring seamless integration of new store openings and online platform growth.
    • Oversee the launch of new business locations, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
    • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leaders to align operational goals with the company's overall growth strategy.
  • Operational Excellence and Efficiency
    • Implement company-wide processes and systems to streamline operations, drive efficiency, and reduce costs.
    • Evaluate current operational practices and introduce process improvements to enhance overall business performance.
    • Lead initiatives to automate manual processes and introduce technology-driven solutions that improve productivity.
  • Financial Oversight and Budget Management
    • Oversee the management of company-wide budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and expenditures are controlled.
    • Take ownership of profit and loss (P&L) management, ensuring each business unit is operating within financial objectives.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality or business performance.
  • Retail and Digital Expansion
    • Lead the operational execution of retail and digital expansion plans, ensuring new store openings and online ventures are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Oversee the end-to-end management of long-term projects, from inception through to execution.
    • Develop robust digital strategies to support e-commerce growth, customer engagement, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Leadership and Organizational Structure
    • Manage and refine the company's organizational structure to support growth and operational efficiency.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads, ensuring they are aligned with the company's operational goals and growth initiatives.
    • Foster a strong, collaborative, and performance-driven culture across the organization.
  • Revenue Growth and Performance Management
    • Drive revenue growth through operational excellence and strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure operational alignment with revenue-generating initiatives.
    • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all business units, ensuring all teams are meeting or exceeding their targets.
  • Risk Management and Compliance
    • Ensure all operational activities comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
    • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity.
    • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, GDPR, and other key regulatory requirements relevant to the business.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience
      • As a Chief Operations Officer or a senior operations leader in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company, preferably in retail or digital sectors.
    • Demonstrated track record
      • Of overseeing business growth and successfully managing large-scale retail and digital expansion projects.
    • Strong understanding
      • Of P&L management, budgeting, and financial oversight.
    • Expertise
      • in process and systems implementation, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
    • Excellent leadership
      • and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
    • Strong analytical
