We are seeking a COO for our client, a leading healthcare organisation in Ireland Overview of Role Our client seeks a results-driven, commercially aware Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead the Operations team. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the full Executive team RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Strategic Leadership: Implementation/Execution of strategic plans Provide transformational leadership to the operations team, aligning strategies with the organisation's mission, vision, and goals. Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans, achieve business objectives, Operational Excellence: Oversee all day-to-day operations Implement best practices to optimise operational efficiency, resource utilisation, and cost-effectiveness. Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Foster a culture of high performance, diversity & inclusion as well as and employee engagement. Ensure staff survey action plans are developed and acted upon with the required timescales. Financial & Project Management: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and achieve annual budgets and implementing corrective actions for adverse variances. Assist with the development of business cases where opportunities arise to improve the groups financial performance. Work closely with Finance Director to achieve working capital budgets in all our homes. Assist and support in the identification of cost optimisation opportunities Oversee and drive various projects and initiatives. Ensure that projects are executed efficiently, deadlines are met, and resources are allocated appropriately. This could involve facility expansions, new acquisitions, process improvements, or technology implementations.
