Seeking a results-driven Chief Operations Officer to lead retail and digital expansion, drive business growth, and promote operational efficiency in a dynamic retail and online company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth and Expansion:
    • Lead retail and digital expansion strategies, ensuring seamless integration of new store openings and online platform growth.
    • Oversee launch of new business locations, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
    • Collaborate with CEO and senior leaders to align operational goals with company growth strategy.
    • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for business diversification.
  • Operational Excellence and Efficiency:
    • Implement company-wide processes and systems to streamline operations, drive efficiency, and reduce costs.
    • Evaluate current operational practices and introduce process improvements to enhance overall business performance.
    • Lead initiatives to automate manual processes and introduce technology-driven solutions.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure consistency across departments.
  • Financial Oversight and Budget Management:
    • Oversee company-wide budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and expenditures are controlled.
    • Take ownership of profit and loss management, ensuring each business unit operates within financial objectives.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality or business performance.
    • Regularly review financial performance and provide detailed reporting to the board.
  • Retail and Digital Expansion:
    • Lead operational execution of retail and digital expansion plans, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
    • Oversee end-to-end management of long-term projects, including retail location rollouts and digital platform upgrades.
    • Develop robust digital strategies to support eCommerce growth, customer engagement, and digital marketing initiatives.
    • Work closely with IT and marketing teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies and digital tools.
  • Leadership and Organizational Structure:
    • Manage and refine the company's organizational structure to support growth and operational efficiency.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads to ensure alignment with operational goals.
    • Foster a strong, collaborative, and performance-driven culture across the organization.
    • Evaluate and adjust the company's structure as necessary to meet changing business needs.
  • Revenue Growth and Performance Management:
    • Drive revenue growth through operational excellence and strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure operational alignment with revenue-generating initiatives.
    • Implement and monitor key performance indicators across all business units.
    • Regularly review and analyze operational data to identify opportunities for increased revenue and improved business efficiency.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Ensure all operational activities comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
    • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity.
    • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, GDPR, and other key regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Proven experience as a Chief Operations Officer or senior operations leader in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
    • Demonstrated track record of overseeing business growth and managing large-scale retail and digital expansion projects.
    • Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial oversight.
    • Expertise in process and systems implementation, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
    • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
