Balmer Dawson Executive Search is delighted to partner with Context in the search to fill the newly created position of Chief Quality, Compliance and Sustainability Officer (CQCSO) within the company. The role has been created to support the companys recent accelerated growth, to integrate its systems with cybersecurity and information security standards, and to embed measurable sustainability in Contexts existing quality system. The CQCSO will liaise closely with the 3 operational teams, agree strategic decisions with the Senior Support Team (Chief Technical Officer and Leadership Development Officer), and report to the Context directors. Chief Quality, Compliance and Sustainability Officer - What makes this role unique The successful person will partner with the 3 business lines, with clients and suppliers, to meet the organisations quality, compliance and sustainability goals. Each operational team includes two quality leads who will liaise with the CQCSO on existing metrics and trends and on system changes and upgrades. The CQCSO will enhance and co-design the respective strategic goals and ensure their overall execution. The CQCSO will integrate new sustainability KPIs integrate new GDPR and cybersecurity compliance KPIs create updated metrics embedded in the operational business support the processes of the 3 self-managing operational teams engage with the Senior Support Team on strategic dialogue and decision-making drive continuous improvement of the ISO9001:2015 accredited quality system in cooperation with quality leads and Senior Support Team support the analysis and resolution of any quality issues identified by the teams engage with the teams to prepare for standard authorities and customer audits and ensure that audit findings are implemented drive the appraisal of information security/cybersecurity standards ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC , as well as of governance standard ISO 37000 evaluate the ecological costs of new technology, such as neural machine translation (NMT/AI) as new service offers identify training needs and lead training programmes on quality, compliance and sustainability develop and manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics inspire and support change to maintain the companys resilience and best-in-class position;initiate projects to increase the sustainability of business processes and work practices. SKILLS REQUIRED The person appointed will have: professional experience in managing and delivering quality assurance and compliance processes professional experience in managing GDPR and cybersecurity processes thorough and current knowledge of ISO standards on quality management information/cybersecurity, governance a passion for the integration of quality and sustainability as an organisational strategy and a capacity to drive this governance concept across the organisation a keen interest and relevant track record in implementing environmental and work-place related sustainability strategies within a culture of continuous improvement and technology-driven change the ability to work well in a flat organisation structure and with self-organising teams a track record of working in close cooperation with Senior Support and operational teams a hands-on approach to team work, inclusive decision-making and active listening excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and an authentic ability to engage with others proven problem-solving and creative decision-making skills highly developed analytical and research skills proficiency with standard software (e.g. advanced MS Excel skills), and the ability to think in processes excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
