The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and executing the risk management program for Coinbase Ireland, working closely with risk partners and stakeholders from across the firm to align the Coinbase Ireland risk management program to the broader ERM Framework.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain appropriate risk programs for Coinbase Ireland in line with all relevant regulatory guidelinesOversee the Coinbase Ireland risk program to ensure alignment with the Global Risk FrameworkLiaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate levels of accountability and transparencyWork with the Senior Management team and provide independent assurance on the key risks of the business, partnering with the business and other internal stakeholders to address any identified gapsExecute additional core risk management functions, including risk identification and escalation, incident management, and executive level reporting for Coinbase Ireland's current and proposed future business activitiesRequirements10+ years experience in risk management at a global financial institution or financial services firmIn-depth knowledge of core risk management principles, experience with building out risk programs at varying maturity levelsDemonstrated experience and expertise in executing core risk processesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with business partners, superiors, and subordinatesAbility to summarize findings and prepare recommendations that effectively communicate gaps, trends, patterns, and relevant information to a senior/executive-level audienceWhat We OfferCoinbase offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
