Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 qualification in Early Childcare and Education. However, candidates with lower qualifications but relevant experience will also be considered. This role requires a professional who is compassionate, patient, and energetic, with a genuine love for working with children. Key Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and evaluate activities that support and enhance the childrens development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress. Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences. Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure a high standard of care and education. Qualifications and Experience: Level 8 qualification in Early Childcare and Education (preferred). Candidates with lower qualifications but significant relevant experience will also be considered. Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. Experience working in a childcare setting is advantageous. First Aid certification is desirable. Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Creative, flexible, and proactive approach to problem-solving. Compassionate, patient, and nurturing demeanour. Requirements: Own transport is essential due to the rural location of Clever Clogs. Garda vetting and background checks will be conducted.
