Christmas Appeal Temp Administrator (6 weeks - 37.5 hours) Location: Dublin Salary range: €35,275.62 per annum pro-rata / €18.09 per hour Experience: Educated to Leaving Certificate level/ Health and Safety Training & Manual Handling Training Closing date: Tue, 05 Nov 2024 Description: SVP is a large, national, voluntary organisation with extensive experience of working with a diverse range of people who experience poverty and exclusion. SVP employs people to support volunteers in a variety of settings including housing, community care, shops, administration, and other specialist areas. The Role: We are currently looking to recruit a Christmas Appeal Temp Administrator to join our East Regional team in Dublin. The post holder will have responsibility for providing administration support to the East Regional office team for the Christmas Appeal 2024. SVP's annual appeal attracts gift cards, vouchers, toys and food from donors across the East region (Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare). Candidate Requirements: The job holder should be educated to Leaving Certificate level, however an office administration / secretarial or computer course would be beneficial. Knowledge of the Society and of its mission and values. Previous experience administration and working in a busy office environment. Experience of working in a warehouse/order fulfilment setting (desirable). Understanding of financial controls and reconciliation (desirable). Excellent IT skills, including Excel and MS Word. Excellent communication skills face to face, by phone and via written communications. Health and Safety Training & Manual Handling Training (role involves some physical work regarding stock control).
