Enterprise People are currently seeking a Cisco Engineer for a 6 Month Hybrid contract. The Cisco Engineers role is to design, build, implement, and support data and voice network systems across the enterprise. This includes planning, configuring, installing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network services including local and wide area network connections, wireless networks, associated software, and communication links. This is a Hybrid role, 2-3 days per week required on site in Kildare. The Cisco Engineer will: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitorand analyse network and application performance across LANs, WANs, and wireless deployments Plan,manage, and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of network infrastructure components Proactivelymanage network infrastructure/technologies, ensuring maximum availability and minimum downtime Ensure existing network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, load balancers, VPNs etc.) is maintained and enhanced QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 5+ Years Cisco Networking experience Hands-ontechnical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards such as DNS, DHCP, 802.1x, TACACS+ & SMTP Sound technical knowledge of Cisco network hardware, including switches, routers, wireless access points CCNA Certification Exposure to Fortinet, SD-WAN, and/or Azure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please call Patrick Docherty at Enterprise People for more information.
