We currently have a requirement for a Civil 3D Senior Designer / Technician (Mission Critical) to work on hyperscale data centres in the EMEA region . PM Group offer a hybrid working model, which will be a combination of being based in our Dublin office and remote. Responsibilities Working on the detailed civil engineering design of large-scale industrial projects Detailed modelling of roads and utilities in Civil 3D Development of drawings and models from Concept stage through BOD, Permitting, Tender, Construction and Handover stages Manage and control the flow of design information for specific projects into and out of CDEs in accordance with project requirements and BIM Execution Plans Coordinate with other designers and BIM team including Architecture, Structural, Electrical and Building Services disciplines Thorough understanding of construction materials and construction methodology Develop and implement innovative digital processes throughout our business Qualifications Level 7 Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification / professional experience) Minimum 5+ years' experience with an EPC firm working on Mission Critical projects in EMEA region. Must be proficient in the detailed modelling of earthworks cut/fill, roads, car parks, drainage systems, and complex underground electrical and fibre networks. Must be experienced in the use of BIM360 / ACC Additional experience in Revit is also a distinct advantage Proven commitment to CPD Candidate must be fluent in both conversational and written English, and possess experience in presenting drawings and models to clients.
