OVERVIEW The Cork branch of a large Engineering Consultancy with offices around Ireland and abroad is looking to add to the team by bringing in a Civil Design Engineer to work on a range of interesting projects in Ireland and the UK. A great chance for a candidate to join a highly experienced and professional team and work to industry leading standards. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES * Work with the Senior Engineering team producing Drainage designs. * Water and roads networks design. * Conduct potential flood assessment and mitigation measures. * Perform traffic assessments. * Ensure engineering planning documentation is compiled effectively. * Assist in producing Flood Risk Assessments alongside the project team. * Experience in the preparation of Traffic & Transportation Assessments and Mobility Management Plans. * Become familiar with costing and options IDEAL CANDIDATE * Relevant Qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering. * 3-5 years’ experience in Consultancy environment * Objective of obtaining Chartership would be beneficial * Drainage, water, roads and traffic system design knowledge and experience * Design software familiarity of one or more of the following: Causeway Flow, TRICs, Tuflow, HEC-RAS, DMURS
