Job Description

"Experience the thrill of designing and delivering Ireland's largest transport infrastructure project in Dublin. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the country's future transportation network.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop and interpret detailed civil engineering design packages, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive design solutions.

  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and public authorities to address technical requirements and permits.

  • Provide on-site technical support and resolve design-related issues.

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure construction aligns with design.

  • Review drawings and technical documents to maintain quality assurance.

  • Assist with design schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.

  • Participate in risk assessments, value engineering, and design optimizations.



Requirements:




  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  • 5 years' experience in civil design, ideally in large infrastructure or transport projects.

  • Knowledge of Irish and European standards, including TII guidelines.



Skills & Competencies:




  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of transport infrastructure design.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
