Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join a busy civil and structural consultancy based in Limerick, working on a diverse range of residential, commercial and industrial projects.
A Civil Design Engineer with 3-4 years' experience is required to design infrastructure, develop designs from concept to site supervision, and work as part of a design team.
- Develop designs for infrastructure projects from initial concept to site supervision
- Work as part of a design team
- Supervise the preparation and implementation of drawings and documents for projects
- Attend and liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
- Monitor project scoping, budgets, and resource allocation
- Inspect and supervise on-site works
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering, have experience with residential, commercial, and industrial structures, and be able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve tight deadlines.
- 3-4 years' experience in consulting engineers or equivalent
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with residential, commercial, and industrial structures
- Ability to work as part of a team and achieve tight deadlines
- Strong knowledge of current codes of practice, building control regulations, and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
