INFORM3 RECRUITMENT Civil Engineer Job Location: Dublin Sector: Civil Inform3 are recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join a large civil contractor to work on large industrial warehouses and residential developments. The client is seeking candidates with an in-depth knowledge in civils and who is able to take on responsibility and work off their own initiative in a busy working environment. Civil Engineer Responsibilities: * Liaise with the Project Manager * Regularly revise Site Drawings and Specifications * Assist in coordinating site staff, providing clear direction on tasks and assisting on technical queries * Coordinate and control plant, equipment and materials on site * Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works * Order in materials when necessary * Maintain the site diary * Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings * Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions * Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended * Comply with all Health and Safety policies * Manage traffic on site Civil Engineers Specification: * Civil Engineer Degree * 3 years+ experience * Setting Out experience * Team player, who has the ability to self-start and work independently * Confident in using Microsoft Office * Excellent numeracy skills * Full driving licence The client understands the value of quality staff, ensuring that they have put in place professional working practices and in return are looking for candidates that are self-motivated and who can deliver quality work.
