Civil Engineer Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer for our client based inCounty Offaly who specialises in the climate solutions. They prominently focus on the renewable energy, recycling, waste management, carbon sequestration and biodiversity conservation. This leading Irish company are currently expanding with innovative projects on the horizon and they are now looking to grow their team. The Civil Engineer reporting into the Lead Civil Engineer, will be key supporting the lean and timely delivery of technical solutions and services within the engineering team, while promoting cost-effectiveness and continuous improvement. This is a 2-year Fixed Term Contract. Responsibilities: Supervise construction of engineering works and contractor activities on site ensuring all projects are completed within contract documentation. Assist in structural, rehabilitation and decommissioning engineer projects. Ensuring all assigned services and projects are delivered within the specific timeframe, within budget, are meeting specifications, and complying with regulatory and health & safety standards. Coordinate all stakeholders, including Operations, Health & Safety, Compliance, and other engineering disciplines, throughout the project and service delivery to ensure key performance indicators are achieved. Develop standardized civil engineering designs or explore alternative methods and practices to solve technical challenges. Prepare technical project, tender, and contract documentation to monitor, control, and reduce costs. Monitor project progress and all steps of the designs and ensure specifications and all construction methods meet relevant codes of practice, legislation and regulatory requirements. Desired Skills & Experience: Level 8 Civil Engineering Degree is essential. A minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering is essential. A full clean drivers license isessential. Relevant experience in Civil engineering design, contract documentation, construction costing and measurement, project management capabilities, wetland drainage design and implementation. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, GIS and Surveying. Skilled in digital capturing processing and manipulation of survey data.
