Civil Engineer (Drainage)

Our client is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Dublin 12. Our client is a leading engineering consultancy offering complete civil and structural services to both private and public sector clients.

The role

Drainage Design – Foul Sewers, Watermain Layouts, Surface Water network designs including surface water attenuation and sustainable drainage device design for residential and industrial projects.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 3 years civil engineering in an office-based environment is an advantage, but not essential if an aptitude for drainage design is present.
2. AutoCAD drafting.
3. Good understanding of levels and gradients, reading topographical surveys.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Knowledge of any drainage design software is an advantage (e.g., Windes, Flow, Civil 3D or others).
6. Ability to prepare drawings and written reports to KB standards (knowledge of Word).
7. Knowledge/Understanding of Roads Design is an advantage, but not essential.
8. Knowledge/Understanding of Earthworks is an advantage, but not essential.
