Job Description
**Renewable Energy Project Support Specialist** Provide technical support to project management, electrical engineering, and civil engineering teams on renewable energy projects during planning, pre-construction, and construction stages. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist with desktop studies of wind farm, solar farm, battery storage, and substation projects * Prepare tenders and specifications for engineering contracts * Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of construction works * Review designs of civil and structural engineering elements * Liaise with clients, contractors, and statutory bodies * Support with project cost estimates and tendering * Build knowledge of industry activity and relevant legislation **Industry Knowledge:** * Maintain awareness of industry activity, legislation, and regulations * Participate in CPD courses * Engage with industry contractors, designers, and equipment suppliers **Company Development:** * Maintain strong client relationships * Act with integrity and professionalism * Contribute to project team meetings to improve performance and delivery **Person Requirements:** * Degree in civil engineering (minimum Level 8) * Minimum 3 years experience in civil engineering roles * Civil engineering experience of renewable energy or infrastructure projects * Working towards chartered membership of a professional body * Safe Pass and manual handling training **Skills:** * Civil engineering * Construction management * Design review * Wind farm * Solar farm * Contestable grid **Benefits:** * Pension fund * Performance bonus * Laptop * Healthcare
