Experienced engineers are sought to support and deliver high-profile projects for a leading international engineering consultancy in Ireland.
Our client is a multi-disciplined international engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth in Ireland, seeking experienced engineers to support and deliver existing and new high-profile projects. **Job Requirements** • Report to Line Manager/Business Unit Leader • Work as part of an integrated team to deliver various projects on programme for clients • Carry out site inspections and prepare reports with recommendations, including design calculations, drawings, estimates, and construction packs • Present reports at client meetings for review and discussion • Assist others within the company in delivering projects, as may be required • Further develop and broaden existing competencies to Chartered Engineer Level **Essential Qualifications and Experience** • Level 8 degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related discipline • A postgraduate Level 9 Masters would be advantageous • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the design/delivery of water networks, wastewater collection systems, water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, surface water collection and management systems, flood defence infrastructure • Actively progressing to Chartered status would be advantageous • Membership of a professional body such as Engineers Ireland or Institute of Civil Engineers **Key Skills and Experience** • High level of technical capability • Track record in the delivery of water services projects • Working knowledge of typical contract forms • Experience in the preparation of construction contract documents and related technical specifications for water services or flooding and drainage infrastructure • Experience of working as part of Employer-led and/or Contractor-led design teams • Excellent IT skills, familiar with relevant computer applications; MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel) • Experience in the use of civil engineering design packages, e.g., CAD (Civil 3D preferable) and relevant simulation software (e.g., EPANET, Win Des, Infoworks, etc.) • Knowledge of BIM would be advantageous • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within the team and liaise with clients **Package** • Salary €55,000 - €65,000 • 23 days holiday increasing with service + bank holidays • Company pension scheme • Disability Scheme • Share Purchase Scheme • Cycle to Work Scheme • Health Screening • Employee Assistance Programme • Professional Membership • Sponsored Education
