Senior Traffic Engineer sought for a dynamic role in a fast-growing Civil Engineering Consultancy based in Cork.
Summary: Experienced Traffic Engineer required to deliver diverse projects, provide expert transport-related design assistance, and contribute to transport policies and design standards.
Job Description:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Some experience in Traffic Engineering
- Strong interest in transport infrastructure, including active travel and public realm
- Knowledge of current transport policies and design standards, including TII Publications and DMURS
- Experience in delivering local roads, traffic, active travel, or highway schemes
- Proficiency in road safety audit and the preparation of Traffic Impact Assessments
- Demonstrated ability in client and contractor interaction and engagement
- Proactive with excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
