Role As an Estimator with a civils bias, you will play a key role in accurately assessing project costs and providing vital support to our pre-construction teams. Utilizing your expertise in civil engineering and construction estimating, you will contribute to the development of competitive tender submissions and assist in securing new projects. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for civil engineering projects, considering materials, labour, equipment, and overheads. Collaborate with the pre-construction team to develop comprehensive bid proposals, including cost breakdowns, schedules, and risk assessments. Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering solutions without compromising project quality or integrity. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiate prices, and assess commercial viability to support tender submissions. Conduct thorough risk assessments and cost sensitivity analyses to identify and mitigate potential project risks. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop competitive tender responses. Stay abreast of industry trends, cost data, and best practices to enhance estimating processes and deliver innovative solutions. Package €55,000 - €70,000 DOE Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and performance-related bonuses.
