YOUR NEXT COMPANY My client are one of Ireland's leading company providing environmental and industrial cleaning services to the pharma, construction, food production, wastewater, power gen & dairy industries, Based in the Midlands, 6 kms from the motorway and commutable from Kilkenny, Thurles, Portlaoise the company has been in operation for over 20 years, employs over 70 staff across the organisation and is now recruiting for an office based Drainage & Surveying Technician/Engineer YOUR NEW JOB As Drainage Surveying Technician/Engineer you will be based in the company HQ working closely with the site crews and customers. Day to day some of the key elements of the Drainage Technician/Engineer job will include: Dealing with clients (primarily pharmaceutical companies) and my client's crews on sites. Putting quotes and tenders together GPS surveying Using AutoCAD software to measure site drawings, Creating reports / repair lists for clients based on data received from crews on site. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU This role will suit someone coming from a civils background who might be doing lots of travelling and would like the idea of moving to an office based role Candidates coming from a utilities, telecommunication's or energy background could also work really well for the drainage engineer/technician job. You will have completed a mechanical/civils engineering diploma/degree and be able to read and interpret site network drawings You will need to be proficient in AutoCAD and ideally have some previous experience of GPS surveying.
