Job title: Senior Claims Specialist Industry: Insurance Location: Dublin Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading life assurance company for a Dublin based Senior Claims Specialist position due to new business growth within the group risk area, and they have a big push to expand the team over the coming years. The Senior Claims Specialist will use your technical knowledge and experience to assess high value claims and drive cases to a timely and accurate resolution, while providing technical support and know how to claim assessor colleagues. The Senior Claims Specialist will sit in theGroup Risk team andprovide mentorship and support to more junior claims colleagues and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders keeping them informed of key issues.You will manage a portfolio of Claims from both Individual and corporate customers with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Role and responsibilities: Assess high value claims using your technical knowledge and experience Provideexcellent written and verbal communications to customers with a strong attention to detail Be a highly organised and self-motivated individual with an ability to prioritise effectively Provide technical support and knowledge to claim assessors on team Job requirements: Experience in Specified Illness Claims Assessment function QFA qualification, APA or CII diploma in life and disability claims or life and disability underwriting Have a proven track record of being organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise effectively This is a hybrid role and offers great flexibility, anda very competitive benefits package including pension, healthcare, maternity leave and several other perks.
