Job Description

Experienced Clerk of Works sought for Design & Build School Construction Projects in the Greater Dublin Region, ensuring compliance with required standards and project plans.

KSN Project Management is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Clerk of Works, responsible for site-based reporting and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work on site is carried out in full compliance with required standards.
  • Regularly check completed works and works in progress, comparing to project plans and project works requirements.
  • Ensure Health & Safety drawings/specifications and practices are adhered to at all times.
  • Measure and visually sample building materials to check their quality and ensure they are in line with project works requirements.
  • Attend progress meetings and ensure all reported issues are properly dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Continuously monitor all works on site and liaise with contractors and project management.
  • Regularly attend site inspections, snagging and handover of works delivered.
  • Coordinate of inspections with client technical team.
  • Maintain daily site diary of all activities on site.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years construction-based experience, preferably on site in a role as Foreman, Site Engineer, Site Manager, Clerk of Works, or as a Resident Architect/Resident Engineer.
  • Preference for experience on new-build projects, however refurbishment projects will be considered.
  • Optional: Qualifications related to Health & Safety and Fire specific qualifications are a distinct advantage.
  • Candidates applying ideally should have practical IT skills and ability to use various software packages to accurately record data.
