Renowned for its serene work-life balance, Wexford boasts sprawling golden beaches that adorn its coastline, making it a coveted destination.Our client, a leading veterinary practice, has recently undergone a restructure, dividing their operations into a dedicated Small Animal team and a Large Animal team. They are looking for a passionate Clinical Director to spearhead their commitment to delivering top-notch care to every animal and client.As Clinical Director, you will be pivotal in both the clinical and administrative aspects of the practice whilst also having the opportunity to develop your interests and put your own personal stamp on things. Your responsibilities will include the overseeing of day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on clinical duties such as surgery, consultations, and overall patient care.Their state-of-the-art hospital is purpose-built featuring two examination rooms, a fully equipped operating theatre, and a prep room. Adjacent to the main building is a specialised unit for large animal examinations. With on-site radiography, dentistry facilities, ultrasound, and advanced laboratory equipment, you'll have the tools necessary to excel.The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon registered with the VCI/RCVS, possessing stellar communication skills and the ability to delegate effectively within a veterinary team. Proficiency in surgery, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care is essential.
