Vacancy exists for full-time permanent Clinical Nurse Manager 1 in residential House in Killester (a panel may be formed with successful applicants) Applications are invited for this position from suitably qualified candidates.

This role requires a strong ability to lead a team and to problem solve and work on own initiative.

Essential Criteria:

Have a RNID qualification and be presently registered and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

Other Nursing disciplines with a minimum of 2 years experience in the area of intellectual disability may apply.

Have a minimum of 3 years Staff Nurse experience in area of Intellectual disabilities.

Have at least 6 months experience in the area of staff support, taking the lead in teams, resource management and administration duties.

Be knowledgeable of Health Act 2017 and have experience and understanding of HIQA Regulations Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills, be highly motivated and have an interest in leading and managing a staff team Have experience and understanding of Health Act 2007 and Government Policy on Intellectual Disability Services A willingness to assist Service-Users with swimming and water therapy.

Experience of supporting positive aging for adult Service-Users.

Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.


Desirable Criteria:
Recognised management qualification.


Salary Scale:
